Sydney, Australia-based Sonic Healthcare’s full-year 2009 revenues totaled $2.5 billion, an increase of 27 percent over 2008’s $1.9 billion. Net profit after taxes grew approximately 29 percent to $261 million. Globally, the company realized a 33 percent margin at EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) on its organic revenue growth for fiscal year 2009, which ended on June 30, according to analysts with Sydney-based Linwar Securities.
