JVHL Teams With Clarient to Expand Cancer AP Menu

The 120 hospital-affiliated labs comprising the Michigan-based Joint Venture Hospital Laboratories (JVHL; Allen Park) are expanding their anatomic pathology (AP) and molecular diagnostic cancer testing offerings through a recently formed partnership with Clarient, a molecular diagnostic and AP specialty lab based in Aliso Viejo, California. Under the current one-year agreement, Clarient will do the technical work at its facility and send the results to JVHL pathologists through its Web-based application, PathSite. The pathologists will then perform the professional interpretation and manage those results with local clinicians.
