After publicly broadcasting its outrage at having been notified that Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey (Newark, NJ) would terminate its longtime in-network provider relationship on March 31 as a result of a new agreement with LabCorp, BioReference Laboratories (Elmwood Park, NJ) announced on February 28 that it has reached an accord with the health insurer. As a result, Bio-Reference will remain as a lab services provider in Horizon’s PPO network.
