Researchers at Johns Hopkins University have identified five key proteins that could be used as a more accurate early warning test for impending heart attack in people with severely reduced blood flow, or ischemia. Results of the study were presented on November 9 at the American Heart Associations annual Scientific Sessions in New Orleans.
