The global economic crisis is expected to severely limit growth in the diagnostic imaging markets in Brazil, India, and Russia, particularly for advanced computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) modalities, according to a new report from Millennium Research Group. Combined revenues from CT and MRI scanner sales in those three countries are projected to shrink by almost 15 percent in 2009.
