This scholarship, given annually in September or October by Washington G-2 Reports, signifies that the individual(s) has (or have) demonstrated a high level of knowledge, motivation and drive for educational excellence in the clinical laboratory sciences field. It is given to help enchance and develop future leaders and qualified medical technology professionals.

The Laboratory Public Service National Leadership award is presented by Washington G-2 Reports annually to recognize and honor an individual who has made a significant contribution to the public interest through accomplishments which directly enhance patient care and the laboratory profession.

The Laboratory Salesperson of the Year Award
The Laboratory Salesperson of the Year Award is presented each year by Washington G-2 Reports, to recognize and honor two individuals, one from an independent commercial lab and one from a hospital lab, who have made significant contributions to their firm through accomplishments which directly impact the firm’s/lab’s sales.
This award recognizes singular accomplishments relative to diverse sales endeavors for their firm in one or more of the following areas: Advancing the firm's sales in 2010, Sales & marketing creativity and innovation (no time limit for the accomplishments), Building new sales/launching new tests/opening new accounts (no time limit for the accomplishments), Lifetime achievement (no time limit for the accomplishments), Performance of a special service, task or project benefiting the firm's sales or the lab industry as a whole (no time limit for the accomplishments).
