Priscilla R. Cherry is currently the president of laboratory services for Fairview Health Services, located in Minneapolis . Fairview Health Services, an integrated health system, has more than 19,000 employees and includes seven hospitals with more than 2,500 licensed beds, an academic teaching hospital, and 50 primary care and 37 specialty care clinics. Mrs. Cherry is responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of the multifaceted integrated laboratory system.
Her expertise is strategic development and management of laboratory systems. Formerly, Mrs. Cherry was director of consulting for Premier Inc, a group purchasing organization based in Charlotte , N.C. , and regional laboratory administrator for Kaiser Permanente, Ohio region.
Mrs. Cherry has a bachelor’s degree in medical technology from the Medical University of South Carolina and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. She is a registered medical technologist with a certificate in lean processes for health care from the University of Michigan School of Engineering.
