John Macko, Executive Vice President and Principal
John Macko has nearly 25 years experience spanning multiple service industries. He is currently executive vice president and principal of ABS, Inc., a full service professional billing, credentialing, consulting and practice management company.
Immediately preceding his role with ABS, Inc., Macko co-founded Vision Financial Corp., a privately held receivables management and business process outsource company specializing in the recovery of outstanding receivables. He held positions in every facet of the company which helped establish Vision quickly in the industry.
Prior to co-founding Vision, Macko held several senior positions at another privately held receivables management firm. There he was instrumental in building an infrastructure and national client base. In his 12-year career there, he held positions in all facets of the business, including management, training, sales, and operations, giving him a unique background to help co-found Vision Financial Corp.
Previous to his collection agency background, he was a manager at Dun and Bradstreet in its advertising division, R.H. Donnelley. There he was responsible for managing annual sales campaigns and adhering to strict publication deadlines. He directed and distributed workflow for sales support, art department, compilation, and publication services. He was also responsible for managing and supporting the companys largest advertising clients.
Macko received his B.B.A. from Pace University in Marketing and Finance, and attended the Dun & Bradstreet Management Development program. In his spare time, he enjoys archery, golf, and spending time with his wife and two children.
