John P. Jacoby, Esq., practicing out of the McDonald Hopkins Chicago office, focuses on litigation and has represented doctors, nurses, and hospitals in medical negligence lawsuits, as well as in cases involving institutional liability.

Jacoby is a frequent lecturer on health law litigation topics, including depositions, trial strategy, and settlement negotiations. He was named an Illinois Superlawyer in 2007. Jacoby received his doctorate in law from Washington University School of Law in 1987, where he received the American Jurisprudence Award as well as being an Honor Scholar.
