Don Howard

Don Howard, M.D., Ph.D., is chairman of the board of CellNetix Pathology & Laboratories, the largest independent pathology organization in the Northwest and one of the largest in the nation. It provides comprehensive subspecialty clinical and anatomic pathology services and operates premier anatomic pathology laboratories serving western Washington.

As chairman, Dr. Howard leads a best-in-class, highly subspecialized pathology group and laboratories dedicated to the highest quality and demonstrable excellence in patient care and results. Previously Dr. Howard served as chief of the Department of Pathology at the Swedish Medical Center family of hospitals in Seattle; currently he is clinical associate professor of pathology at the University of Washington.

Dr. Howard is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, with subspecialty expertise in immunology and special interests in transplant pathology and flow cytometry. He holds a doctorate in experimental pathology (immunology), and his undergraduate degree is in philosophy. Dr. Howard is the author of numerous publications related to the immunobiology of malignant diseases, particularly breast cancer and lymphomas.
